3:00 A.M. Shout From La Verkin

I'm making this post from my iPhone in a parking lot in La Verkin, UT. It's nearly 3:00 in the morning and Rob Clarke, Nathan Wright, Craig Walker, and myself are huddled in my car watchig the rain pour...

You see, we came to Southern Utah to go canyoneering in Zion National Park, but we didn't really have sleeping arrangements for tonight. We decided to crash on the lawn at an LDS church in La Verkin. It was actually turning out to be a great idea until the rain began pouring down...

I had a tarp I was sleeping on that I left by my companions and I retreated to my car. Rob wasn't comfortable being the little spoon in the cuddling configuration they had arranged themselves in under the tarp, so he was te first to join me back in the car. This seemed like a good solution. More room for those under the tarp and plenty of space for the car dwellers. Unfortunately Nate upset the natural order of this arrangement and caused a pooled up gallon of water to pour down Craig's side. Naturally this unforseen turn of events eliminated my comfort of spreading across the whole back seat.

So here we are... Four guys, huddled in my car, with all our wet gear, watching mother nature ruin our plans for this weekend...
