Where's the Love?!

What happened to celebrating the days of our ancestors? 100 years ago our forefathers crossed the path of September 9th, 1909, and I'm sure they knew the significance of 09/09/09. I called every people and nobody would join me in celebration of 09/09/2009. What has happened that we have fallen so far out of touch with our obligation to party for even the most minor of reasons that we overlook such a sacred responsibility to party like it's 1809, 1909, or even 2009?
